The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan is an official parody four-panel gag manga strip by Puyo. It began serialization in Shonen Ace on July 26, 2007 and in The Sneaker on August 30, 2007. In 2009, the manga was adapted into a Haruhi-chan anime that was streamed through Kadokawa’s Youtube channel. In that same year, Puyo also started another Haruhi Suzumiya spin-off manga called Nagato Yuki-chan no Shōshitsu (The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato).
