Below you’ll find some download links for scanlations of the Haruhi Suzumiya manga. There were actually two Haruhi Suzumiya mangas published by Kadokawa Shoten so far. The first one was by Mizuno Makoto, but was unpopular and was canceled after just one volume. The second Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu manga is by Gaku Tsugano and follows more closely to the light novels. It is currently still in production having spanned eight volumes as of 2009. You’ll find downloads for the English translations of volume 1-3 below by the scanlation grpup S^3. This manga has been licensed for North America publication, so if you like it, please consider purchasing the official manga.

I think that what they meant to say on their post is that the actual manga volumes are up to volume 6 in English and that volume 7 is due to be out sometime in October. I’d suggest looking for them online or at bookstores, I know that where I live I have to order them online since the only manga that the bookstore here carries are Naruto, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and other Shounen Jump manga.
