Official Haruhi Suzumiya artwork by Noizi Ito, the illustrator for the light novels. She has provided artwork for all the Haruhi Suzumiya novels so far and also many other promotional artwork for magazines, DVD covers, illustration booklets and even a Haruhi video game.
This may be a mistake: 40 seems to be anime artwork rather than Noizi Ito’s own work…
