Hi guys, there’s been some new Haruhi Suzumiya music released in the last few weeks, including the main theme to the Disappearance movie and a CD full of music from the imaginary band ENOZ (seen during Live Alive). We thought it would be nice to share them with everyone, the files are courtesy of the staff of Nipponsei. On top of that, we’ve also added download links for the three other Haruhi Suzumiya CDs which we’ve never really posted on before; these are Suzumiya Haruhi no Gensou, Suzumiya Haruhi no Kiroku ...

Haruhi media has been spotted in a “Akihabara Majokko Princess” music video from actress Kirsten Dunst, McG and Takashi Murakami. The video was shot in Tokyo’s Akihabara district and features Dunst singing The Vapors’ “Turning Japanese” song while cosplaying as a Majokko (Mahou Shoujo or Magic Girl). Dunst is a self-professed chidhood Sailor Moon fan and has provided dubbing for the English version of Kiki’s Delivery Service film in the past. Note to viewers, the video contains a small amount of nude hentai images, though nothing highly obscene it’s probably ...

New 15 and 30 second versions of a commercial for the Haruhi Suzumiya movie have been posted at the haruhi.tv website. The song in the background is the official theme for the movie, “Yasashii Bokyaku” by Minori Chihara. The end of the commercial lists a DVD release date: Feb. 26, 2010 (Edit: correction, the date is for the DVD release of Suzumiya no Gensou) This could be very good news for the Haruhi fan community as fansubs will certainly follow. Not yet anyways.

The objective is to maneuver your fleet of starships around the map to destroy the enemy fleet. The game is priced at $2 at ...

It has been confirmed that Bandai will be releasing the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya as a complete collection as opposed to the individual volumes that season 1 was distributed as. The announcement first came in the form of a repost of a previous ASOS video announcing the licensing of the season 2 DVDs for North America. The move is believed to be largely due to the Endless Eight episodes dominating the second season. Anime distribution companies usually rely on individual DVD volume to bolster sales before offering box sets; ...

Yenpress has recently licensed Puyo’s The Melancholy of Suzumiya-Haruhi-Chan manga for North American publication. The manga has been in publication since 2008 in Kadokawa Shoten’s Shonen Ace. Most fans believed the gag manga would not see the light of day overseas so a scanlation group has been (slowly) translating the chapters.
In other Haruhi publication news, Little Brown Young Readers will be releasing the third volume of the Haruhi Suzumiya light novels (The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya) in July; at current pace, the next volume should be ready in another 5-6 ...
