Bandai will be bringing both K-ON! and Haruhi to this year’s J-Pop Summit festival in San Francisco. Episodes of from Bandai’s third collection of the K-ON! anime will be shown as well as a mini-concert. Viz Media has announced that they will be hosting an encore screening of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie at the Viz Cinema theater on Friday December 17th @7:15PM. Tickets are $10. If you missed out on the first screening, this is your chance to see the movie on the big screen before the DVD releases.

The Bandai Entertainment panel at the New York Anime Festival made several announcements about releases of their upcoming anime products. Although most of the information announced were regarding licensing of Gundam series (Mobile Suit Gundam japanese license, Gundam Unicorn licensed) and K-ON (Blu-ray in spring 2011), Bandai also added in a snipet of news regarding the DVD release of the Haruhi Suzumiya movie in North America. No specific dates or content information was divulged, but the release date is tentatively scheduled for spring 2011.

Following closely on the trail of the recent accouncement of the Suzumiya Haruhi movie screening in the UK, another possible Haruhi showing will be occuring in Singapore. Here’s some good news for the ever neglected anime fans in the United Kingdom. Filmhouse cinema in Endinburgh, Scotland will be hosting an anime festival between October 15th to 17th. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie is included in this season’s movies along with a wealth of other new and classic anime films.
