The last Haruhi Suzumiya light novel: volume 9 The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzumiya was officially released in Japan on April 1, 2007 (no April’s fools joke, really). It’s September 2009 now, but volume 10 which is titled ‘The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya’ has yet to be published.
