It’s only been a few days since the preview to the 10th Haruhi Suzumiya novel came out in the latest issue of The Sneaker magazine, but one hard-working Haruhiist has already put out a English translation of it! A user named Cnet128 from the Animesuki forums has kindly posted a 27 page PDF file of his work. Here’s a few links to download it: Megaupload, MediaFire, DLL. Even though the Baka-Tsuki translations of the novels have ceased, the appearance of this fan translation is a good sign that we …

The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzumiya kind of left things at a cliffhanger, so I’m sure many fans are anxious to know what happens next; but having to wait over two years is a bit much. Volume 10 was supposed to be released …

Good news this week, early spoilers say that this week’s Haruhi Suzumiya season 2 episode will be the last one in the hell we have come to call Endless Eight. I’m still not too sure what Kyoto Animation thought they’d gain by doing so many loop episodes. If it was an experiment to test the limits of otaku patience, it certainly succeeded. Volume 9 introduces three new female characters seen in this picture, from left to right are Kyouko, Kuyou , and Sasaki. The most interesting of the three girls is Sasaki, a friend of Kyon’s from middle school. Her appearances naturally evokes feelings of jealousy in Haruhi, leading to more “closed spaces” to form. What’s even more intriguing is that a rival agency to the one Koizumi belongs to believes Sasaki has a similar power to Haruhi in that she can create her own version of the “closed spaces.”
The Dissociation of …
