Haruhi/Persona 4 crossover fan art: Harusona 4

Haruhism, if not treated in its early stages, can result in the production of some really awesome fan art. Haruhi crossover fan art is nothing new, and there’s been some really legitimate looking ones, but this is the first time I’ve seen a Haruhi/Persona 4 crossover, aptly named Harusona. Persona 4 is a PlayStation 2 game where you and your classmates and friends battle monsters using creatures summoned based on your inner personality. Like Haruhi, Persona 4 has quite a cult following of its own, so the laws of fandom …

Similar Animes to Haruhi Suzumiya

Season 2 of Haruhi Suzumiya is now well behind us; It was a good run, with the exception of a certain eight episodes. I’m hopeful that Kyoto Animation is working busily on a third season, but seeing how long it took the second season to be released, we might be in for a bit of a wait. So what’s a Haruhi fan to watch now? I received an email recently froma fellow fan asking if I could recommend some other anime shows that were similar the Melancholy of Haruhi …

The video is a bit old now, but worth sharing here. The CPDRC is a maximum security prison in Cebu, in the Cebu Province of the Philippines. On the theme of crossovers from the last post, I thought I’d post some of my favorite Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star crossover videos. For many Haruhi fans, Lucky Star was like Haruhi season 1.5 because it filled that empty place after the first season was over; plus it had Haruhi’s seiyuu Hirano Aya as the voice of Konata and made several references to Haruhi in the show itself. Check out the following fan made videos from my favorite’s collection. Post a link if you’ve come across good …

Genderbending of Suzumiya Haru..ki

I guess this is a second parter to the Kyonko post. Although not as popular as Kyonko, you can’t have a female Kyon without a male Haruhi. Some people have taken to calling the male Suzumiya-san as Haruki, others go by Haruhiko. If you think about it, Haruhi’s tomboyish characteristics transfer pretty well into an aggressive but quirky male character. Give Kyonko a tsundere personality and you have the prefect pairing. They can probably make an entire new show out of this and fans will love it. …
