Christmas is coming up, so in the spirit of the season here are some of my favorite Haruhi Suzumiya Christmas pics from my collection. Many of these are high resolution and perfect as desktop wallpapers
This one is probably my favorite. FYI: Christmas in Japan is treated more like a lovers’ holiday like Valentine’s Day, so many young couples exchange gifts, give chocolate and find it romantic to spend the holidays together.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any Haruhi related news, mostly because there isn’t anything new I wish I had more info on the new Disappearance of Haruhi movie or volume 10 of the light novel, but I’m afraid there’s not much to report. So instead enjoy these scans of the 2010 Haruhi Suzumiya calendar, generously scanned by anonymous. I thought it’d be pretty funny (and cruel) if they had 8 pages for the month of August LOL. Don’t know why I didn’t do this earlier, these Haruhi OST’s have been around for ages. Here’s a list of Haruhi Suzumiya soundtracks with download links for your listening pleasure. Unfortunately there isn’t really a single OST for the entire show like they do with other anime series. There are, however, character albums for nine of the more popular characters. Heck, even Kyon’s sister and Kimidori Emiri get thier own soundtrack.
