Kadokawa Shoten has released three Haruhi themed apps called AniPokes for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad for both the US and Japan. The AniPokes use Motion Portrait technology previously used in Haruhi Suzumiya games. AniPokes allows the user to interact with the characters including limited speech recognition with changing facial expressions. The Haruhi AniPoke is free to download at the App Store but the Mikuru and Yuki Apps cost 99 cents or 115 yen. The Apps normally cost $3.99 or 450 yen, but this special ...

Kyoto Animation created a cool little desktop accessory program that lets you play around with chibi SOS-dan members right on your computer screen. It comes with wallpapers, a clock, icons, mouse cursors and other fun goodies to ceck out your computer with Haruhi themed tools. And a Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya version is also available. The original program is in Japanese only, but a fan translation was made, check out this blog post for more info.

The new year is coming up fast, so here’s the 2011 Haruhi Suzumiya calendar scans. This year’s calendar features some nice art using the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya characters. I really like these because it explores the scenario where Kyon chooses to stay in the new universe. To really appreciate it, you have to watch the movie or read the 4th light novel View the 1200px resolution pics in the thumbnails or download the high res versions through the links.
The Adventures of Dr.Koizumi is a fan-made role-playing game. It runs off of RPGMaker VX which you can download for free here. Don’t expect too much though, the game can be completed in about 10 minutes and it seems that Koizumi Itsuki is the only character from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which shows up in it. Check it out if you’re curious, plus there’s always more fan-made RPGMaker games out there to try out afterwards.

This fan shooter works off of the original DOOM game (via Legacy Engine) and is based off of the Adventures of Mikuru Asahina seen in the first episode of the anime. The story taken from the game’s manual:

Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekitou is a 3-D fighting game that uses characters from the Haruhi Suzumiya series. If you’re familiar with Super Mario Smash Bros., you’ll have a good idea of what this game is like. The game is developed by doujin circle Souvenir Circ. and originally sold at Comiket 2007/2008. Gekitou is actually an upgraded version of Suzumiya Haruhi no Chourantou, a previous game also made by Souvenir Circ., and has a ton of new features missing in the original. There are four playmodes: Arcade, Story, Free Battle and ...
