Very funny and original Haruhi Suzumiya cosplay skit at Sakura Con 2009.

A short video of a group of pretty awesome SOS Brigade cosplayers doing the Hare Hare Yukai dance at Comic Con 2009. Mikuru was a little off sync, but it’s okay since her character is naturally clumsy. Great cosplay and very nice dance, they’ve obviously been practicing. I came across this video while looking for Comic Con 2009 videos on Youtube. Here the Master, as he calls himself, goes around the 09 ComicCon interviewing cosplayers. The video features a bunch of different cosplayers, but watch for the Yuki Nagato one. I give the girl credit for being faithful to the original character’s personality, but it just comes off as strange in this case, especially if you’re not a Haruhi fan. Kinda creepy IMO, but I still LOL’d.

Just more evidence of the boundlessness of Haruhism. Check out some of these great fan artwork of Haruhi cosplays using characters from other anime shows and beyond.
