asahina_mikuru_sensei Planning on attending Anime Expo 2013 this year? If you are so lucky, be sure to meet and greet with Haruhi Suzumiya character designer and illustrator, Noizi Ito. Ms. Ito will appear as a Guest of Honor for AX2013 and will likely have her own panel at the convention along with other notable guests such as Danny Choo (Mirai Inc.) and Mari Okada (Black Butler, Toradora!). Ms. Ito has worked as a character designer or illustrator on a number of popular series including The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana, Another light novels, as well as providing artwork for various video games and related media. Ms. Ito is not a stranger to North American anime conventions, she has also appeared at Seattle’s Sakura-Con convention in 2010 and at Hawaii’s Kawaii Kon last month.

Anime Expo is an annual anime and manga convention which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center between July 4-7; a four-day pass is about $65. Anime Expo has grown in scale dramatically, and is currently the largest anime and manga convention in North America. It is the second longest running anime convention after A-kon in Texas.

    Is anyone still here?

Yes, some of us still are from time but sadly there are no new developments in terms of a new season of the anime or a new movie or any new light novels except some manga that have nothing to do with the main story so i believe that it is up to us devoted fans to do something about this financially speaking, if someone agrees to this and has the money to back up my statement then i hope you will help me in making a donation that would involve either Tanigawa Nagaru making new novels or getting a studio to animate the next novels of the Haruhi Suzumiya universe.
