Aya Hirano and Hunter x Hunter Movie

24 November 2012 2 Comments

Aya Hirano recent finished seiyuu work on the upcoming Hunter x Hunter anime move: HunterxHunter: Phantom Rouge, set to be released in Japan in January of next year. Aya provides the voice of Retz, an original character in the movie. She has worked on the anime TV series in the past as well where she voiced Gourmet Hunter Menchi. Aya met with the J-pop duo Juzu who did the theme song for the movie — their new single “Reason” is based on the character of Retz. The cover art does remind me a lot of the first OP for season 1 of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

I’ve tremendously stopped watching anime for years now because I mostly got bored with it. Almost 98% of anime out there are either copies of previous anime made in the past completely unrelated or just an anime about all anime in general but all anime have the same exact form of style and all that. It’s really gotten boring to me. I’ve been watching anime since 2006 or 2007 and all these years I’ve really come to see how the Japanese just rinse and repeat. It’s as if they all cooperate together in secret. I mostly follow up on story on Anime to see something new but I’ve yet to see any Good Changes. I’m hoping for a great change for the better so that I could watch anime and feel that great sense in it like I have all those years ago because I truly do miss it… also these days it’s all about sex now and I don’t mind a little ecchi here and there but it’s gotten to the point where almost every scene in a lot of anime has some kind of sex or ecchi scene in it. I don’t want it in Every episode, maybe every 4 or 5 but it’s truly gotten annoying. I still love you guys from the original days tho and I miss you all~ <3

I love Hunter x Hunter, it’s my favorite anime/manga. It just has so much depth, it’s unpredictable and thus avoids typical anime cliches. Can’t wait to see the movie!
