Haruhi Suzumiya Anime Location Photos

21 August 2010 23 Comments

This neat website was recently sent in through the Haruhi Tracker. The site owner, undoubtly a hero amongst Haruhi fans, has travelled to the various locations in Japan that were scouted out by Kyoto Animation to be used in scenes for the Haruhi Suzumiya anime.  The site owner has also conveniently labelled which episode(s)/event(s) each location was used for.  There are also location photo hunts the Haruhi Suzumiya movie, as well as a large collection of galleries for locations used in other animes (Clannad, Lucky Star, and more!) Take a gander, if you’re a true Haruhi fan then I’m sure most of the photos will be very nostalgic :)

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (1st and 2nd seasons) photos: gallery 1, gallery 2, gallery 3, gallery 4, gallery 5
Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie photos: gallery

Thanks to Thelillybillian for the news tip. If you have Haruhi-related news or media to share, feel free to send it in.

LOL I already saw these already. I think it’s cool that these places are actually real. I would die to live there to feel the spirit of Haruhi and I’ll save up all my money just to go to North High.

I knew Nagaru Tanigawa used all kinds of real locations for the anime and saw some pictures of them before, but still… everytime I look at these kinds of pictures I get chills all over.

You can almost feel like you’re in the anime yourself.

Regarding background art of real locations in Japanese animations:-

Sometimes it’s flawless because they actually paint over the top of a photo rather than used simply as a reference.

My personal view is that it’s a little lazy…

Wow, these are awesome! Funny how all those shots were all from real places. I bet there are a bunch of excited dorks running around like, “GOOD LORD, Haruhi sat down HERE! I need my inhaler, this is RADICAL.”

…I’d probably do the same if I went to Japan.

Thanks for your write-up. What I want to say is that when looking for a good on the net electronics shop, look for a site with comprehensive information on critical indicators such as the security statement, basic safety details, any payment options, and also other terms in addition to policies. Continually take time to look into the help plus FAQ areas to get a better idea of the way the shop performs, what they are capable of doing for you, and ways in which you can make the most of the features.
