Haruhi Suzumiya on Crunchyroll

10 April 2010 8 Comments

Good news Haruhi fans, on Friday this week Crunchyroll began streaming the first four episodes from the first season of the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.  Crunchyroll has recently acquired the rights to the show from Kadokawa Pictures and plans to stream all of the episodes from season 1, with season 2 coming not far down the road.  But wait, it gets better. Crunchyroll also has plans to be streaming the Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya and Nyoro~n Churuya-san series as well. The shows can be watched for free on Crunchyroll through their ad-supported platform, those who want early access to new episodes or want to do away with the ads can sign up for a subscription.  Though Crunchyroll is a bit late to the game, it’s nice to know there’s now another free and convenient way to watch Haruhi anime online; which can only help spread of Haruhiism even further!

Thanks to marty and dazza for sending in the news tip; source. If you have Haruhi-related news or media to share, feel free to send it .

If it’s a sub is it official?

They are preeetty late in the game ^^”

Streaming Nyoron and Haruhi Chan seems kind of pointless though… especially considering Kadokawa themselves uploaded the shorts to youtube xD

Why are you asking for a sub? The dub was awesome. Kyon is so brilliant I could die!

Why that’s not available in Poland yet? And why guys on crunchyroll forum hate it?

seems pretty pointless when you can just rip the episodes from youtube or download them from veoh
