Aya Hirano Recuperating From Health Problems

29 March 2010 9 Comments

aya-hiranoThe popular Japanese seiyuu for the title character of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has recently cancelled her appearance for a live concert due to unspecified health problems. Aya voiced Yuki Morikawa in the anime series White Album last year and was scheduled to perform at a White Album Concert II event on April 18th. However, she recently wrote on her blog that she has checked into the hospital twice for health-related problems and is suffering from hair loss and insomnia, though it doesn’t seem serious. Aya’s projects and live appearances will likely be pushed back a bit while she recovers. Original news source: ANN. More info can be found here. Thanks to sonicdaman for sending in the news tip!
