I love how this song plays at the end of the movie because it's almost like Yuki's way of admitting what she put Kyon through may have been a mistake, and she wants him to forgive her by asking Kyon to forget everything that happened in a kind and gentle way. (Yasashii Bokyaku)

It's still sad how she doesn't get what she wants in the end, though...
Poor Yuki... The end of the film made me feel so sorry for her...
Screw Haruhi and Mikuru! Yuki needs more love, people!

SPOILERS!!!

What Yuki had detected as "errors" in the past were simply her emotions she was hiding conflicting with her job of supervising Haruhi. She never knew how to express them, so by changing the universe, she was able to get Kyon to understand how she felt.

Anthropic Principle. There isn't just a single answer. There are about three levels of existence. Level one (#1) The Simple Existence where an entity is simply there. And Level two (#2) where there is the Present Existence, where an entity exists to another thus confirming the Simple Existence of the first and vice versa. Level 3 (#3) is the Active Existence, it might not be an actual type of existence, but it leaves traces that it was there and produces a possible #2 existence.

#1 can exist. It's just as simple as that.

#2 gives #1 meaning, while #2 cannot exist without #1.

#3 to achieve this existence there must be a #1 and #2. #1 becomes the #3 to the #2 and thus fulfills the requirements necessary.

To wrap it all up, one type of existence builds off of another and thus creates a 3 dimensional law of existence.

Aw..... I this movie looks awesome and I know it is coming out on February 6th in Japan. I can speak Japanese and understand a decent conversation but does anyone know if this is going to come to America and if so, where can we watch it (I watch all my stuff on ZOMGAnime) also when it will be subbed so I can understand it fully. Also, we will see a side of Yuki that we have never seen before! Yay!

I completely agree with you S.O.S. Brigade Underling #1.
If you recall the earlier novels, Kyon is very important
to Yuki and the TEFI's. I was completely convinced of this when Yuki
tells Kyon in the first novel: "I also personally wish for you
to return". That was really expressive for an alien that's only
there to observe. I wish the official translators would work a little faster. I want to see how Nagato's character continues to develop.

The Nagato in this one is way different than the original Nagato. The world in the Disappearance is the world the way Nagato wished it to be. No Haruhi, being alone with Kyon in the clubroom after school,

SPOILER

with Asakura still being around and eating dinner together. The reason Nagato did this is because data stacked up and caused an error. so she recreates the world in a way similar to Haruhi's powers

the reason she did this is because that "data" was actually emotions. And the error was the result of her finally breaking down. By the way the world was created you can tell what she wanted.

To be human, no Haruhi or observations, being together with Kyon and apparently Asakura.

Kyon still retains his memories because Nagato wanted to give him a choice. Whether if he want to live a life with haruhi, or a life with just himself and Nagato. She doesn't want to force it on him.

Kyon chooses to live in Haruhi's world and activates the restoration program after he apologizes to the other Nagato for not choosing to be with her.

This is whats in Disappearance anyway. There's more to it in the more later light novels.
