The SOS Brigade is forced to visit various locales to continue shooting Haruhi’s movie. During a mock battle scene, Haruhi demands that Mikuru should fire laser beams from her contact lens. Kyon gets her to be rational, but during the scene Mikuru inadvertently does fire off laser beams that would have done a lot of harm if Nagato hadn’t immediately removed the contact lens. After the day ends and Haruhi goes home, Koizumi discusses with Nagato how to remove the laser ability which Haruhi apparently placed on Mikuru by changing reality. Filming continues the next day with Tsuruya, Taniguchi and Kunikida dragged along as extras. Mikuru is reluctant to come but is forcefully dragged there by Haruhi. Haruhi leads everyone to the next shooting location, a lake near Koizumi’s house.
