It’s summer vacation, but Kyon’s plan of lazying around all day is disrupted when Haruhi gives him a call and pretty much orders him to meet up with everyone else. Haruhi wants the SOS Brigade to participate together in various summer activities and she has quite a long list of things she wants to do. As such, the group is taken on a whirlwind tour of summer activities, from swimming pools to summer festivals, part-time jobs, and even bug hunting. Finally, having gone through Haruhi’s entire list, the last day of August arrives. Though Kyon tries to make up for his lost time by doing his neglected summer homework, he eventually gives in to distraction and goes to bed without finishing it.

I don’t care what anybody says, Endless Eight is pure freaking genius. The first time I re-watched the series in chronological order, I skipped most of the EE episodes because I didn’t want to go through that again so soon. This time, I think I’m ready to relive the EE experience one more time. Wish me luck with my sanity. @_@
