Not my favorite Haruhi figure, but it’ll be my first one posted just because it was so unexpected. Haruhi in a gothic lolita outfit. I don’t recall her ever wearing this costume in the anime or the books (though I haven’t read them all yet), but I guess it’s not out of the question considering Haruhi’s affinity for cosplay. The other inspiration that I can think of for the creation of this figure is the side B cover to the Hare Hare Yukai CD:

It’s not the same costume that’s for sure, but the goth look is there. Note also Mikuru’s outfit because she also got the same treatment as Haruhi with her own goth loli figure.

The figure itself is a masterpiece in fine detail – mostly due to the complicated frills and ribbons on Haruhi’s dress. Haruhi’s expression seems a little too cheery for my tastes though. I wouldn’t have minded a more tsunderish expression on her face or in the way she’s posed. And no, I don’t think the face is swappable with this figure. The figure is 1:7 Scale is about 25cm tall. I did find this figure on eBay – the price is around $70-80 not including shipping.
