“Boken Desho Desho?” translates as “It’s an Adventure, Right? Right?”. This is technically the second opening theme for the Haruhi Suzumiya anime if you count “Koi no Mikuru Densetsu” (“The Mikuru Legend of Love”) which was performed for the first episode. Boken Desho Desho was performed by Aya Hirano, the Japanese voice actress for Haruhi. When I originally saw the show, I had no idea that she was the voice for Haruhi and for the opening song.  She has a real talent and a great voice.  Aya can pull of the high and low notes equally well, just watch Lucky Star :3
